About Us
Weber & Weber was founded in 1952 in Inning, Germany by Richard Weber Sr., a German pharmacist, and Dr. Alfred Vogel, a Swiss naturopathic physician. Both men were dedicated to the advancement of homeopathic and phyto (plant-based) medicine.
Today, after more than a half-century of existence, Weber & Weber has earned a worldwide reputation for developing high-quality herbal remedies used to successfully treat a wide variety of ailments.
Our CEO, Reiner Rittinghausen, M.D. brings a physician's insight to Weber & Weber. Under his leadership, products are researched and developed, combining the latest clinical science, pharmacology and modern technology. Our remedies are recognized as medicines and prescribed by medical doctors and natural health practitioners alike in Europe and Canada, and throughout the U.S. since 1998.
Our phyto-pharmaceutical and homeopathic preparations include ArthoEase® (for arthritis), Otoplex® (for otitis media) and Petadolex Butterbur Gelcaps (for migraine headaches). They are noted not only for their effectiveness, but also for their ability to treat without harmful side effects or drug interactions.
At Weber & Weber, we pride ourselves on using only the finest and freshest ingredients in our remedies. For example, some of the plants we include in our preparations, such as echinacea, hawthorn and elderberry, come directly from organic gardens located on our company grounds in Inning. Others are collected from unpolluted, protected areas in the wild. The plants are harvested with great care and processed while still fresh, ensuring that the essential active substances of the plants are preserved in the forms found in nature.
Our products are made according to the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), which is the most stringent international standard for the production of pharmaceutical remedies. In addition, our homeopathic preparations are made according to the high German standards of HAB.

High quality phytopharmaceutical and homeopathic products
In 2003, Weber & Weber celebrated the 50th anniversary of its founding and, consequently, four decades of providing high quality, effective phytopharmaceutical and homeopathic products to the German market. The majority of remedies presently being offered by Weber & Weber are based upon original, time-tested formulas.
However, since the early 1990's, the product range has evolved and expanded to include new formulations which are designed to satisfy the needs of today's changing market. Through both the preservation of traditional remedies and the introduction of contemporary, well-researched products, the private company of Weber & Weber is making a valuable contribution toward upholding and advancing the field of naturopathic medicine.
